5 Tips for Driving Traffic to Your Blog

Many of the blogger out there are not making money unless you just want to socialize with people or making new friends. At the end of the day, your friends getting tired looking at your blog because you run out of ideas or articles to share with them. Do you realize you can socialize and make an extra income online by sharing ideas and information? We know many bloggers are working very hard thinking this is great business opportunity for them without realizing that you need drive traffic to their site. Building a nice blog is one thing and driving traffic to the blog is equally important. Here we have some tips that help drive traffic to your blog. Get started with Twitter Marketing:

What is Twitter Marketing?

A Twitter is just platform of the marketing tools that you need to have in your social media toolbox along with others like a Facebook, MySpace, a LinkedIn profile, a blog, and an RSS feed on your website. We are living in a New Age of instant technology and flowing of information through our social networks, online marketing, Internet, mobile phones, and emailing. And Twitter is just one of the latest methods that streamlined for obtaining that great information. You can sign up as what I have show you in my previous videos, and you have not done so do it now!

Find a few people you like to follow such a celebrity or marketing guru in the same field. Watch how they tweet and you can re-tweet what others have to say and add in some links to image, videos, music and stories. And you don’t need to write more than 140 words. This will help to understand how you should communicate and share information, and you don’t have to do a ton of marketing articles for your Twitter Account.

You don’t have to talk so much about yourself:

Twitter is just about tapping into the trends of conversation. It’s a channel of communication and information at the same time, which provides an exceptional opportunity for marketers to build trust and relationship with people. If you only talk about yourself, your products, or your service, people will ultimately refrain from you (unless, of course, you’re branded like Google or Yahoo and your products are the trend). When you get involved with the social community, you should address the concern, help them to solve problems, provide real information they needed, and create value for your followers. Tell them things that they didn’t know. Give them a good reason why they have to keep following you. And more importantly, they must like you and talk about you.

Remember don’t spam your audience:

Don’t set up an automated Twitter feed every minute or second getting annoy of your followers. And this is not what Twitter is about. Be unique and get connected with your followers. In addition, don’t use Twitter as an online press room to post your company’s press releases, news updates, or new hires. Who will be interested? Sure, it’s fine to include a couple of links to a new company initially or event…but it must be done carefully and must be relevant to your followers. So remember to tweet wisely!

How often you Tweet:

Know ahead of time how often you plan and what to tweet. How frequently will your followers want to hear from you? Do you do it once per day or twenty times a day? You have to make up your mind beforehand, then be expected and stick with a consistent frequency. Don’t try to tweet “on the hour,” when they are sleeping and geographical location is equally important when targeting your market. It’s helpful to have some general topics queued up, so you’re tweeting with a consistent voice. It’s also important to choose the time when they “login” to their computer.
